It's Bike Month! Woot!
Hi kids! Welcome to your Bike Month newsfeed. We planned a full slate of activities to celebrate May Is Bike Month, and this is the place to find out all about them. Thanks for riding along with us!
Brand New Student Challenge
The Jibe Student Challenge is back! Track your bike trips for a chance to earn a fun prize pack featuring a drawstring bag, water bottle with mist function (!!!), May is Bike Month t-shirt, and a kickball. Prizes will be awarded by random drawing at the end of the month so let's get tracking. Register here!
Chill-dren’s Treat Wednesdays (sorry adults - kids only!)
Each Wednesday throughout May, Jibe will be dishing out free desserts to students who are out biking. On Wednesday 5/5 we’ll be at Valley Oak Park from 5-7 PM. And, we've got treats from Bubble Cone Food Truck. Wow! To claim your free dessert, ride your bike, stop by the Jibe booth, and show us your helmet to get your treat. Every Wednesday in May, from 5-7 PM, Jibe dishes out free desserts to students who are out biking. Here's the lowdown on our locations and offerings!
5/5: Valley Oak Park with treats from Bubble Cone Food Truck
5/12: Witter Ranch Park with treats from Kona Ice
5/19: North Natomas Community Park (a.k.a. "Eyes Park" by Natomas Park Elementary) with treats from Kona Ice
5/26: Valley Oak Park with treats from Daisy’s Dessert Truck
Kids only Scavenger Hunt
As part of the Jibe Student Challenge, May Is Bike Month edition, Jibe hid letters all around North Natomas Regional Park. The letters spell out a mystery word. Discover the word, gain a cool badge, and be entered to win our prize pack. The photo in this post will lead your first letter. The rest of the letters are found here:
Letter #2 Bike Yard bike corral parking lot,
Letter #3: Tree at North Park and Natoma Blvd where the sidewalk forks off into the park,
Letter #4: Lamp on bike path by Field 4,
Letter #5: Pillar for stage near bike path,
Letter #6: Field 4 fence/viewing area behind home plate,
Letter #7: Bridge at Quinter Way and Broadwater.
